NEVER AGAIN!

I feel ashamed that I helped the 2nd one get UotW. You tricksy devil you! You and you're infernal funky car!

Um, yeah. That is all.

Wow...

That was an incredibly good preview. It can stand alone its so good.

The movie is sweet, and touching. A serious feeling movie with a touch of sweet humor to it. Nothing that makes you want to laugh out loud or anything, this is the sort of movie that makes you want to lean back and smile. I cannot wait for the full movie, as this by itself is going to be going into my favorites listing. A rare thing considering I usually hate previews.

The graphics were incredible. Not only are the drawings highly well done, but the animation included lots of frames of movement and flowed very well.

All in all, this little preview touched my emotions, and I was extremely impressed by its overall effect. I'll be sure to watch the real thing when it comes out. Good luck.

Royaledis responds:

Thanks dog, glad you liked it. I know this sort of thing isn't for everyone...but the very subtle humor makes me smile too.

Great stuff as usual

Interesting, it just so happens that I just got cable today! :D So happy.

I noticed you seem to be using a different kind of drawing style than your other movies. It's nice.

Yeah, there were points of this movie I was just like "WTF?" and "OMG!". Yes, a bit of an overuse of the internet acronyms but you understand.

An excellent movie as always Jeremy. I always enjoy your work :)

omg zerg lizards! ^_^

Not the best action movie ever, but certainly not the worst. It is really quite good for your first movie, I encourage you to keep at it.

Hilarious!

Well, maybe it was. I wouldn't know.

Nice lip synching, but not much animation besides that.

Oh, and don't loop :/

FelleAndersson responds:

what animation? There where only lip synching

Awesome :D

Simply put, it was perfect. This sort of stuff needs to be on TV. Excellent job you guys, funniest stuff I've seen on NG in a long time. Now to wait for episode 10 ^_^

:)

Again you make another blue movie, but it seems that you are still forced to go awardless. You just seem to submit on popular days :P

Ha, you know what a Bingbong is ^_^

That first song is very midi-sounding.

Not really that many allusions to Bitey in this movie, I don't really get where you're coming from on that point. Maybe you don't know what an allusion is :P

al·lu·sion
1 : an implied or indirect reference especially in literature; also : the use of such references

These are pretty direct if you ask me :P

Bitey "Allusions"
-The snowman
-The pictures on the walls
-The "...for dummies" book
-The blured movement of Santa
-The camera angle with the elfs

Can't find anything other than that really.

Hmm, I can't seem to find the Easter egg. I click tab throughout the movie, and the only buttons I found were the picture of the trees and the stool, and neither of those buttons work.

Anyways, weird little movie, but your drawings seem to be really improved. A nice job :) Make something with a little more sense next though :P

alexsmolik responds:

Hey, glad you rather liked it. :)
Guess what. I did get an award man. Daily 5th. Hehe. I'm proud, my first award ever on NG.
Yeah I know that it is a little weird flash, but you gotta know Brackenwood to truly understand it and admire it at its full potential and everything.
You basically said all the Brackenwood "allusions", so yeah, maybe there weren't so many, but still. I think it's rather enough.
And about the easter egg, it's just that at the end, when you cick on the "forest picture"(when Santa is holding the book), it stops the movie. And it gives you time to read the B525 message written with the books colours ... You can click on the chair to keep the movie going.

If you didn't understand what I just say, you might want to check Brackenwood forums out hehe.

And yeah, I'm glad you said my drawings were improving, because I really did put a lot of work in this. Countless hours of animation, drawing and stuff...
And yeah, my next is going to have more "sense". =)

Thanks for the long review.
ALEX

Not nearly good enough for top 50

The animation is jumpy at a lot of parts.

The music, while fitting, is a bit too "midi" sounding.

The story is decent, but there really wasn't much that was funny about it.

Ha, only 287 have gone to that link you provided :P That's funnier than this movie I think.

The thing is, Prowlies is so great because it is the greatest example of Flash animation today. The graphics are incredible, and nothing is spared. You, on the other hand, obviously took a lot of shortcuts and ways to lessen the amount of work you had to do. And even if you hadn't, you still are drawing in a 2d art style unlike the 3d feel that Prowlies gives.

TmsT responds:

I totally agree.
Now stop comparing my COMPLETELY DIFFERENT movie with the professionally-made Prowlies, okay? Apples and Oranges, buddy.

Meh

Not too good. Same movie clip over and over, and you just ripped pictures off the net. And the jokes were just...gay :P

omg! <3

Haha, this is just one of those quirky movies that I just love. Good job :)

Salad Fingers was drawn very well.

omg, what is that first song? It is rather kick ass.

So yes, all in all, I <3 it :)
