Looks awsome :)

Man I can't wait. The first two were so bad-ass, this one is sure to be as well. Why do the characters look so radically different though? My only complaint is that this preview is WAY too short. It just barely whetted my apitite.

Random...but not fun

At least the graphics were pretty good. Thats rare for a TotW.

Is this right!?

It got review crew pick of the week with only 12 reviews!? Thats insane...

Anyways, on to the movie. Dispite that odd award, I must say it might have deserved it after all. This is a very well done movie, and not a bad canadiate for the award. I thought it was quite humorous at least. Good job.

I expected much better

This one wasn't all that good. Nothing really funny (which I expect from a person like knox) and watching it was, in fact, annoying. The "bad quality mic" effect you was trying to simulate was:

1) Highly annoying, it should have been used sparingly
2) Doesn't sound at all like blowing into a bad mic sounds like anyways. So the effect failed.

So this is one of the worst of Knox's claymations that I have seen. Come on Knox, pick it up!

Oh, and I also suggest that you put little blinking red dot in the corner when its "recording". You know, to add some "realism" to it.

Yes! Getting back to good movies...

This is definiately one of the better ones of the recent movies you've been releasing. The best part was when the other guys grew "eyes" as well. That made me burst out laughing. Classic moment. Great to see you've still got it knox!

Awsome! I loved this one

Quelantaro: My favorite of the bunch. I love the animation style, its all smooth and blurry at the same time. The intro sequence perticually was very cool, but really, it was cool all around. I also loved how perfectly the animation was in synch with the music. When an animation synchs properly, it makes it three times better. The song was also really cool, you should have put in the credits what it was called though. I was kind of confused with the whole creatures deal. But I think they are spirits or something that infulence the guy to kill the other. Doesn't really fit the theme "Murderer for hire" though, but who cares. The ending is kinda funny because its just one terrible cliche. A little joke if you will.

Sqeezy: Very disapointing. It was just a guy running around. Nothing really happened much. I was expecting much stranger things from you Sqeezy.

Luis: Oddly enough, out of all of the movies combined, your movie came in 4th of my fav list. This is because altough your animation style was kick-ass as usual, you followed the cliche extremely closely. Buckshot (who else?) kills someone...for money. No real twist there.

Fudge: Kid gets beat up...not much else here. While the graphics were good and the music fits well, it lacked substance. Needs a twist.

SecretAgentRege: My second favorite of them all. The only real direct comedy out of any of them. And a damn good one at that. Very funny, made me laugh multiple times. Which is a good thing ;) The graphic style was a very nice. Quite different from the rest too. The ending is kinda weird though, I just that "job interview" was an attempt to frame him or something? Meh, whatever. Interestingly enough, that "anti-drug" spoof at the very end would have made a lot more sense in Fudge's movie, but oh well.

Overall, much better than group B's. Although that's to be expected. Good job.

Pretty good TT

Dead_Star: Very quickly I recognized the song, having watched the music video for it on the special features of the movie Tomb Raider. (Bad movie, excellent music video) Anyways, your drawing style was quite nice and the main theme of going against a sheep should promise to be good, but it just didn't really keep my expectations of it. Perhaps sound sound effects could have really helped it out in this case. Also, incredible first movie for you. A very excellent start, and I how you continue to make more movies outside of the Time Trials, as you have the qualitys of a very fine artist.

dookiemoole: Odd little main character there. Though you took the theme pretty straight forward aproach to it. But at the end there is a slight twist, but not really enough to make it interesting enough.

aL: By far my favorite. A very orginal take on what was required. Also, very stylish, great graphics. And I love the music and the "No!" sounds, they just match the movie so well. Excellent job. This is what TTs are all about.

Pako: My 2nd favorite. The style of the piece reminded me a lot of Sqeezy, as it was highly random with weird stuff happening. I'm assuming the "murderer" requirement was met by the "murder" of crows? Or maybe I'm just looking too deeply into this. It obviously ends a bit suddenly, maybe you was just doing as much as you could in the alloted time? Or maybe you just didn't finish. Either way, its still quite good.

artistj: Probably my least favorite. The idea is too straight forward, nothing incredibly orginial there. And the drawings where way too two-deminsional. Don't be afraid to do frame by frames!

I really didn't like this Time Trial too much. It's kind of a mixture of TT 3 and 4. The black and white as the only colors wouldn't have been so bad, if luis wouldn't have outlawed SHADING. Without shading, it really makes the movies look a lot more bland and uninteresting. Although Al got around this requirement the best by his "sribble" shading. And the forced title narrows a lot of people's creative thinking too, lowing the quality in that way too. Hopefully the next TTs will have cooler requirements.

Graphics were ok...

But yeah, that storyline was pretty shitty. But hey, its a TT. In the older versions this would have gotten in I bet. Well, keep out it. You're bound to get into one of them if you try hard enough.

Oh, and isn't there an Audio Portal credit you forgot to give? That 2nd song sounded like a ParagonX9 song...but I'm not sure. Quite positive I've heard it from the AP though.

TheComet responds:

Yes it is, I can't get flash mx open atm to get the # for it >.<

The world needs more Sandwich Shop Ninjas

Man, I would eat out all the time if I could see one do that in real life. Awsome job! (Tee hee, ninjas, what CAN'T they do?)

haha, owned :P

He must certainly did get owned. This is probably the best anti-Foamy movie I've seen. Usually, they suck more than the Foamy movies themselves.

On another note, you sure are getting a lot of reviews...

DrDeath2k3 responds:

I know...It's funny how a movie with "foamy" in the name gets more attention than most movies...
